22nd Mountain World Cup – Krkonošský Half-Marathon
Sunday August 15th Mountain Running World Cup 2021 in Janské Lázně - first in Czech Republic
The town of Janské Lázně is well-known as a recreational, touristic and spa town, located at the foot of Černá hora (Black Mountain) in the eastern part of Krkonoše (Giant Mountains).
Lenght 21 km | Elevation 1220 m
Course details: Start and finish line will be placed in centre of the town Janské Lázně – Colonnade Square. Terrain: mountain path accros the top of Černá hora Mountain to the Pec pod Sněžkou and back . Km markings are showing the distance to the finish. Course will be signed accordict to WMRA regulations. There will be three refreshment stations on the course.
Registration Office (TIC): Registration Office (TIC) will be placed in Municipal Office in Janské Lázně Colonnade Square.
- Friday August 13th, 2021 from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
- Saturday August 14th,2021 from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
- Sunday August 15th,2021 from 7.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
All competitors will receive two(2) identical bibs ,one to be worn on the front and the other one on the back. Bibs must not be folded or cut in any way. Doing so could lead to disqualification.
Entries and deadline:
Entries must be send in written form before August 14th, 2021 using the entry form online www.maratonstav.cz. Entry fee must be payed with entry form and using online system and booking the accommodation. There is no possibility to enter the race on Sunday August 16th.
Changing room and showers: Placed in Municipal Office in Janské Lázně Colonnade Square.You can use the showers and swimming pool after the race in Bussiness College cca 250m from the start line
Accommodation: We are able to ensure the accommodation according to your order till August 8th 2021 midnight(Bed & Breakfast) with the deposit CZK 1000,-. The organizer will ensure the accommodation for competitors by the World Cup Rules.

Rankings: The first 25 competitors in World Cup race are scoring in the category Women and Men regardless of age.

Medical Service – for this event a medical service ( doctors, paramedics, Organisation of Czech Red Cross) will be organised at the competition venues. The Hospital in Trutnov is nonstop prepared in case of urgency.
Doping Control – all competitors are liable to be requested to submit to a doping test before or after the competition. Number of doping controls will be determined by Jury.
